| Hey guys, as you should know, the level editor has been removed from Halo Revolution. It caused too much frustration for a lot of people, so i decided to delete any existance of it. However, FORGE has been added, where you can create maps easily, and as they're created, they come to life. You can also move objects around, delete them, add more objects while the objects are being 'real'. For example, you can be having a massive battle with marines and the covenant, and you could be adding more covenant, removing covenant (same as marines), pick up covenant and move them around. You can add gravity lifts to fly something up into the air, or anything you want! No more having to build a map, and click test to play it, everything is always playing while you build the map. You will be able to create your own maps, which means you can add any in-game object you want, including terrain. You will be able to load your custum made maps, modifying them however you want. You will be able to load up an inbuilt mutiplayer map (such as bloodgulch..) and can then modify it with any ingame object, except terrain. The level editor is removed, but FORGE is added, so don't worry So far, everything is working perfectly. BUT you'll have to wait until the next release, and i have no idea when that will be. I might decide to release a version once forge is completed, so you have something to do while we build the campaign..not sure yet.. Scotty | |

| Maybye you could make a plug-in that changes forge to the level editor or somthing. I liked being able to set up a level and then test it, but whatever. | |

| I kind of enjoyed the level editor, you should have left it and just made it so if there is ever online you just cant play custom levels online. | |

| Ok so I probably should have posted a poll about this issue. You all loved the level editor...but why??!?!? BUT if you're all that worried about it, i may add a feature so that you can either having it in paused mode, or playing mode. Therefore everything would still be like forge, however you create the map, then play it. This way it would be compining both forge and the level editor, you'd be able to switch from each other.

| OOOH I see now! I thought you would not be able to do all the stuff in the level editor that you could in forge. Never mind then. But still, a pause mode would be useful. | |

| Yeah, making levels for yourself was fun. I don't see how forge is useful tho, without multi-player. | |

| I don't get why you guys are upset... they are the same but with limitations on Forge, due to my brilliant idea, so original included maps or maps made by the official team cannot have their terrain edited, much like Halo3, but completely unprotected maps or a map your guys build from scratch can be edited in all ways. And I think Scott would have made a pause feature anyway, I mean it would take up some fps to have everything animated in Forge anyways. | |

No, i haven't made a pause feature, because that's actually harder believe it or not. I don't think i'll be adding one either, because Forge is forge, and you gusy will have to get used to it. You shouldn't be upset, it's very good. It doesn't take up any more fps for forge then it does playing the game, as objects just do what they do when they're added etc. Scotty | |
