Which title music is best?

• Halo Revolution V1.wma (Using sibelius 4 (with "Kontact Gold" sounds). This one is the music currently being used in pre-beta 5
  
• Halo Revolution V2.wma (Using Sibelius 5 (with "Sibelius Essential" Sounds). This is the possible future theme to HR
  

Please leave a message on how I could improve it. As said before - NO PERMISSION IS GIVEN TO ANYONE (EXCEPT SCOTT STRICKLAND) TO USE THESE IN THEIR PROJECTS

I think the second 'new' one is better, because it's not the same as the original halo music. It's got a twist to it which i like. I will edit the ending so that it loops well (with the drums at the end and the start) and it should work great!

good work, but i still like the original.

for the level editor, I really think it should be a slow tempo, relaxed song and thats it. I find myself often annoyed with the intense music in the level editor. Then, when your actually playing, and depending on whats going on, the music should change. Also, I like the new one better.

oK for the title screen, we will use the title music but for the level editor i will make a slower piece (probs using the siege of madrigal and long notes)

Personally, I think that we should use both in the game.
V2 at the title and V1 in some parts of the game. Both of them are fantastic anyways. Better than I could do.

1 - I will use different parts repeatedly (though differently arranged)
2 - Can you tell me which bits you like from each so i can splice them together (give me rough times)

By that I meant that you should keep both songs.
Just use them both in diffrent levels.

They are pretty much the same song with different instrument sounds.

Yeah, they are both very nice. We just need something slow for the level editor. Is it possible for the title screen to have a moving background? Just like a halo in front of a planet, but with the halo kind or rotating or something?

I have seen a tutorial on this in the tutorial's section on the GMC.
The background is made up of smiley faces moving, and at the same
time moving diagonally up the screen slowly.

Hey jwheeler, we should make this topic just for the music that you create. Could you add the level editor music that you wrote, and once you've done the credits music piece, please add it as well. Im not sure if we really need a credits music piece, it seems like it would be a waste of space, because we could just use the main theme song but if it's good, we can always use it for other levels.

So heres my remix from 1 of the halo 2 songs.
Wel i'm not sure if your goin to use this but anyway if you want it its in mp3

i compose my own using the orig melodies plus my own ones. I write the accompaniments tho. (a bit like Hans Zimmer - he rewrote the POTC music for the second and third film)

anyone know of a music player that is like flash or summat that can play your own music files on your website. I want to upload the HZ music i write. to the website so that you can listen and make comments.

Uhm, youtube? Just add an image and put it in like a video program.

I prefer the original theme of the two, but both are good!
