Halo Revolution Banner

This took me about three and a half hours.

Tools: Photoshop, MSPaint, GameMaker, Todd MacFarlane Halo 3 Master Chief Action Figure, and A Screenshot from Halo Revolution.

Hope this is good enough to be officially adopted...

Ha! That's awesome! One thing though. The writing is too hard to read, and it's not displayed long enough. Could you please edit the writing frames and change the font, and make sure it says something like this:

"Join the Revolution"

THEN

"See HALO from a new perspective"

THEN

"Halo Revolution"

THEN it does the transforming to the 2D MC. Also, it looks like MC's holding a pistol, then when he goes 2D he's holding a assault rifle. Don't worry about that, because it'd take ages to redo it.

its pretty cool, a nice idea. The only thing I would say is it looks a bit unprofessional, with just that white background, then the black background with red text. With the time you spent on the rest, you would want to add some sort of background and a better logo or something.

Yer i agree. It is pretty unprofessional, but a very good idea. Maybe we could spend some time making something cool like this with your idea..

I don't know why it would look like a pistol; it <i>is</i> an AR. Waste of 3 hours...

H - Revolver, this was definetly not a waste of 3 hours. It was simply a 'first draft', and you have now given us a good idea for a banner, or even an opening animation at the start of the game. Now i think we can't just give up on this idea, as you put a lot of time and effort into it. Maybe you could have another go, 'draft two' or if it's good enough it would be a final.

I have an idea, im going to take screenshots while playing halo 1, using 2 computers so i can easily zoom out behind the masterchiefs back, rotate around the MC, and then it will transform into our sprite, and some platform terrain will be added. I will do it on the bloodgulch map, because we use the same background.
